Even though we aren't that excited about finishing 5th on Saturday, we are very happy that the car is back to normal. We have struggled with the car for the last month after the incident on the track with that lapped car. After a lot of searching and replacing parts we finally found the culprit causing the car to struggle. The right front spring was shot. We pulled it out and put on the spring rater. It was way off what is was supposed to be. The sway bar also had some slight damage to it. It took way to long to learn this information but at least it is fun to put the car back on the track knowing it is competitive.

Saturday started out pretty good. We were the fastest car on the track in the final practice session. We missed qualifying on the pole by .02 and ended up second. There were no heat races for any division because of the 150 lap late model race so we weren't able to get that one more chance to feel out the car for the feature.

The inversion had us starting 9th so we had a little ways to go to get to the front. There was some crazy 2 and 3 wide traffic which didn't allow us to get good run going. Finally in the last 3rd of the race the outside line opened up and we ran the high line to finish 5th. The car was decent but a little too loose to make it to the front in that short amount of time.

This saturday is the next Enduro race so we hope to see you at the track for the 250 lap event.
