Saturday's race resulted in a 3rd place finish for the DTS Racing street stock.  We started the day by being the fastest car in practice.  Even though we were fastest on the board the car still didn't feel like it should.  It seems we have had this problem since our wreck a few weeks ago.  After a 6th place qualifying effort we started 3rd in the heat a 2nd in the feature.  We made some adjustments to the car for the heat race that didn't seem to help.  We finished 3rd.

We started the feature on the outside pole.  Normally we would feel pretty confident about being able to get around the leader in a lap or two, but because the car has been so unpredictable since the wreck/repair we didn't know what to expect.  The car raced terrible and was hard to control.  We managed to hang on for a 3rd place finish.  It was dissapointing to say the least. 

Next week is our biggest race of the year.  We will race 100 laps.  This week will be spent trying to figure out why the car has been so different since that one night.  Hopefully we figure it out!  Gates at 3pm, practice at 4pm, qualifying at 5:45pm, racing at 7pm.  Hope to see you all there.
