Dave was running great in the enduro car....until around lap 150.  He had been running in the top 5 all race until the car started showing signs of smoke.  Finally the smoke got so bad that he had to pull it in the pits.  After alot of searching to see where the smoke was coming from, we realized that the transmission fluid lines running the trans cooler came loose.  That is not something that has ever happened before!  We quickly tightened them up and poured in more trans fluid only to have it come shooting back out like a volcano.  So we parked it for the night.  It was a dissapointing finish to what was a great run.  We will try again at the next enduro race on August 6th.
